Credit file & change of name

I got married a year ago on Monday there (yay!) and changed my name.
Under my old name I am in a trust deed for some silly debt run up while I was a student. This is due to finish in August this year (1 more payment - woohoo!) and I just ordered a copy of my credit file to check that the defaults were on from the correct date.
Only ordered experian at the moment (will do the other two over the next few weeks) and it shows no association with my maiden name or the defaults against it which is a little confusing. There's one account on there which I changed the name on but the other things have been set up in my married name but I have always declared my maiden name on applications if/when asked.
Should I query this? Obviously I don't really want to 'cause it's looking pretty good at the moment, but if it's going to catch up with me anyway I'll be sensible about it :rotfl:

I don't see why you should. If the CRA's don't link, then that is their failing - not yours. If they do at some later stage, then no matter it still will be time barred at the same date.

However you will be asked on any applications for credit you make to disclose names you've been previously known by, and to withhold that information is criminal fraud.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
