Ahhh made it a whole day at work after all - although my voice does sound rather peculiar. No results back with the GP surgery yet so will call again for them tomorrow afternoon.

Off home from work in a few, just finishing off a few bits/preparing myself for tomorrow. Today I finally finished an assignment for a management and leadership course work put me on when I first started and I have found plenty of tasks to be getting on with tomorrow; mostly filing and a little bit of data entry. Nothing too bad really.

It was a grey morning and it has been a refreshingly cool, grey but dry day which has helped me no end as I hate being ill and too hot as I have been the past few days!

When I get home I will stick the washing machine on and water the plants again before settling down with my tea and maybe a cross stitch project - this one I bought years ago and never did but I found it at the weekend in my parents garage and it will be a perfect time passer! Also want to practice with my sewing machine a bit more with a view to making a carry bag for bf's new speaker!

Flights and accommodation sorted for Belgium, will sort out giving the other lass what I owe after pay day and look ahead to getting my money changed in plenty of time. Also found a new dress (or two) I would like to get if possible for the trip (to surprise bf when he looks up to see me cheering ;) )

I have had rough plans for Christmas gifts for a while but not decided anything (my birthday is in a couple of weeks so people always tell me to shh until after that!) but I have pretty much planned my lot's now - well mum and dad are sorted just Brother to decide on. A massive relief for me as usually I ponder and stress for weeks!

Anyway, better run off to catch the bus - catch you all in a bit!

Evening all....so late again, time seems to fly in these fine days. Hugs to all who are not well.

Going to the theatre to-morrow night with some of my knitting group....spare ticket so offered to me, have forgotten name of play but haven't been to theatre for donkey's years so won't really matter, will enjoy it anyway.

We are 43 years married to-day....in some ways it seems like forever, although it has really gone in a flash. No celebrations as we had other things on but am planning on going out for late breakfast to-morrow if I can stand the excitement.

We have record temperatures here at present, lovely to have it after last couple of years...no clothes drying problems.

Stay safe everybody and sleep well
