Accomodation in Blackpool for son and mates?

Anyone got any recommendations for accomodation for approx 6 lads for either a long weekend or a week.
They're decent lads and they don't want to be in a rough part (if there is such a thing) but they do want to be near the promenade and close to the attractions.
This will be the first time they've been away themselves and I'm worried where they might end up so I'm trying to help find somewhere decent that will accept a group like this. They also need it to be reasonably priced.
Any ideas gratefully accepted. They have no fixed plans yet and are still considering all options.

There is a fab hotel I stayed at on a girls weekend but I can't remember the name of it but I will find out.
I take it they are over 18? As this place has a 24 hour bar.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
Found it
It really is a fab hotel, its right near the tower and train station, very clean, staff are fab.
We only went there by accident as the hotel we were booked in 2 doors up was discusting and manky.
Prices have gone up, but trust me, it is so worth it.

Problem is in Blackpool, some of the cheaper places wont take groups of men, so it may take a bit of tracking down to find a decent cheap one.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
Thanks, I'll check out the link in a mo. Son will be 18 by the time he goes but I'm not certain about one of the other lads. Will check on that.0

It isn't a wild hotel though, we had a few drinks before we went out and it was just like a normal wine bar, then when we got back from the clubs, even though they had the music going, it was very chilled out.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

It looks ok but I'm worried about the 24 hour thing. It'll go to their heads and they wont remember to go to bed, lol.
Any other suggestions? Maybe somewhere they can mix with pensioners perhaps? It'll be good for them to interact with a broad mix of society (and I wont worry about them as much, lol).
