Cake pop decs - mouths and caps
Options
Hi all,
Very random question, but I've been googling all night with no luck.
I'm going to be making some cake pops which look like little people and I'd like to use some pre-made mouths and baseball caps to decorate the faces. Ideally they would be icing or candy like the little eyes you can buy but happy to consider alternatives e.g. chocolate.
Does anyone have any ideas where I might try?
Thanks for your help,
Sam

Hello
For eyes I would recommend:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Eyes-Sugar-edible-icing-eyes-Multiple-listing-3-16-1-4-3-8-1-2-inch-eyes-/360622222114?pt=Uk_Crafts_Cake_Decorating_MJ&var=&hash=item53f6c26b22
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Edible-Cupcake-Cake-Sprinkles-Pearls-4mm-Balls-great-for-character-eyes-/230975209736?pt=Uk_Crafts_Cake_Decorating_MJ&hash=item35c7320108
or using royal icing to pipe them on (cheaper option)
For mouths I would also pipe them on or make them out of fondant.
For the caps I found these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CUPCAKE-CAKE-TOPPERS-BASEBALL-CAPS-/261241133665?pt=Uk_Crafts_Cake_Decorating_MJ&hash=item3cd32f5a61
If you want a more 3D effect I would use a round cutter and mold it to the cake pop. Also using the round cutter, cut the circle in half and attach it to the cake pop to look like the peak. I know they're not premade but it may be an easier option.
Hope that helps!'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0
