Hi all!
My husband used Moneyboomerang for three PPI claims with car finance around 10-15 years ago. Even though they said that the timescale was NOT an issue, all three claims (With Black Horse finance) were not found.
My husband has no paperwork, and only went on the addresses at the time he purchased the three cars and his personal details (Name, date of birth etc).
Money boomerang claim that Black Horse finance are saying that the accounts are all 'not found'.
My husband is a bit annoyed as these claims began in August 2012 and we only find this dead end news this month so along time to wait for a smack in the face really.
Today Moneyboomerang sent a letter to my husband stating that the claim could be investigated if he contacts the car manufacturer direct and ask for account details 'up front' and that if this is successful, he should call Moneyboomerang and divulge these all important account details and let them handle it.
DOUBT IT!! Will go through the 'Which' website, like i did with my PPI claims for my credit card two years ago.
BUT.....can account details still be found even though its 10-15 years later?? This is what Moneyboomerang advertise on the tv but obviously isnt worth the paper its written on!!
Any advice appreciated!!
Thanks
K

If it's car finance, they weren't regulated until January 2005 anyway, so they can dismiss your complaints. If it's someone who was regulated, you will have to send them a SAR and £10 to see what info is left, and there amy be none, because they may have destroyed it.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
