CB to IB ESA, how long?

Hi, just wondering how long it should take to be processed for this?
my CB ESA ended on the May 28th, I sent off my ESA/3 not long after so it's coming up to 4 weeks without any money and I still haven't heard anything.
I'm not panicking but I am getting a bit anxious as it's seems like a long time to me and I am getting a bit short on cash, if/when it goes through will it be back-dated to when my CB ESA ended (28th May) ?

Yes it will be backdated. Give the DWP a ring in the morning and ask why it is taking so long. I know when I did mine I made a small error on the ESA3 and if I had not rung them it would have stopped. But I got mistake corrected and payments began again.0
