Balance Transfer Query

Hi all,
Been trying to search for some clarity on a query i've got but to no avail so was hoping someone here could help.
Basically I've got an old barclaycard account which is 27.9% interest and I abused that to the tune of £2000 when i was younger and racked up all the interest on it (stupidly)
I've been paying off a decent amount each month but obviously the interest is a big chunk of that as well. Barclaycard have just given me a new platinum card for a new account with 18 months 0% on balance transfers for a 2.8% fee.
The obvious issue being Barclaycard wont allow me to transfer between the two but i wanted to know if it was possible to transfer it to a friends card and then transfer it over to my new barclaycard immediately in order to pay it off quicker under no interest.
If anyone knows of the implications or anything at all about this i'd really appreciate it

Depends on what card he has, but technically, he could transfer it to his card, and you transfer from there.
The obvious risk for him is that you don't then transfer it to your card.0
