Wightlink

Have been trying to find cheap ferry tickets to the Isle of Wight. Went to their facebook link and got a huge discount. Can only do one booking though so have everything ready!

One thing I don't understand is why you pay around £1 per minute on a ferry crossing like this where every comfort costs extra [well, nearly every comfort - there are no coin machines on the loos], but you only pay about 7p. per minute for a sea cruise where your every need is catered for. Another thing I don't understand is that a forty minute crossing always takes forty minutes but you can pay vastly different sums of money for it depending on the duration of you stay on the Isle of Wight. I do understand the rules of supply and demand which explain why your journey is cheaper in the witching hour and dearer in the rush hour, but I am sitting here imagining the outcry if the Department of Transport tried to apply that logic to road travel
Life is like a box of chocolates - drop it and the soft centres splash everywhere

Well the Dartford Crossing charges vary depending on the time of day.

As do those on the M6 Tollroad.

OK, maybe they aren't set by the DofT... perhaps that's why there is no outcry. :D

I've looked all over their Wightlink's Facebook page but can't find a discount code.

Any chance you could post a link or instructions to find it?
