offer accepted... should we have heard something?

Hi!
We had an offer accepted 3 weeks ago. Solicitors have been instructed and Memorandum of Sale has been issued.
We've not received anything from the seller/seller's solicitor. Should we have?
We're also selling a house and have filled in the fixture and fittings forms 2 weeks ago for our buyer so I would have expected the seller to do the same for us, but nothing.
Thanks!

What does your solicitor say? Have they actually been in touch with the vendor's solicitor? You won't hear direct from the vendor's solicitor.
Maybe they're on hols and don't want to advertise the fact?

Just because you received & returned the F&F form quickly doesn't mean the other party would have too.
I know when I sold last year I hung on to the f&f form 'til I was certain of the things I was prepared to leave behind, as I didn't want to list anything as included that I then found I really wanted to take, such as certain light fittings.
Have you spoken to your solicitor to find if he/she has had any communication from your buyer's solicitor to let them know that they are acting on their behalf? The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Have spoken to our solicitor and they've not heard at all from the vendors solicitor. They've chased the EA who have chased the vendor.
Just seems odd as vendor is the one who wanted to complete soonest.0
