I signed on at 1:20 tomorrow, But I had a dentist appointment at 2pm in a different town from job centre.
I called to change which they did, fine.
But they asked me if I had a card from the dentist, I don't have one.
Will this cause any problems not having my dentist card, Appointment was arranged like 5 months ago.

My sign on time was changed to 11am, What happens if I don't take an appointment card as I don't have one.0

Either get a card from the dentist or change the appointment. It cant be urgent if it was made 5 months ago...
There is always a risk from the job centre that you will be sanctioned.
Its a no brianer.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Tell them you don't have a card and you will be able to produce a card or something similar when you next sign on. Can't see them having a problem with that.0

That's just it, you will be really surprised as to how much of problem the job centre can make it for the op. it really does depend on the advisor and how they feel on that day even if it may be the first ever time the op has changed signing times and has never signed late.0

Nothing can happen providing you arrive for the new appointment0

Depends how much notice the jobseeker gives, if the appointment was arranged 5 mnths ago and he leaves it till the last minute then yes appointments can be hard to re-arrange.
See DWP as an employer, they have the right to refuse time off for routine appointments if business needs dicate.0

I must not make dentist appointments that clash with signing times.0
