I just think that it's in their interest to put the fault with us and I just don't have that kind of cash, if I knew it was my fault then I would find a local repairman who would be much cheaper!
Believe me, the likelihood of you being forced to pay the callout charge is non existent.
Imagine that you are the engineer, who all want an easy life as we know. Who in their right mind would turn around and say '' Sorry Luv, you've broke it, you have got to pay'' Most of them will make it look as if it is a manufacturing fault, if it is your fault. They don't want to get into an argument, with the possibility of a broken nose. It is used to filter out people who have done damage themselves and won't accept it, or are out of warranty and are lying. Just remember to not take off on them as soon as they get over the doorstep, or you may just make your worst nightmare come true.
I employ a team of fitters, who do just that, although a lot of times it drives me crazy. Remember an engineer will always complain about another ones work, to get you on side.
Just watch, come the day, you will have no issues and hopefully you come on here and praise Hoover for their good service.0
