Need to borrow a document scanner

Hi
I was wondering if there was such a thing as a company that rents out document scanners. I'm not talking about cheap flatbed ones (I have one already) but a super-duper Canon document scanner, where you stack up all the papers, and they whizz through, double-sided, and end up in electronic format super-fast.
I have a fair few binders full of uni notes to scan, and on a traditional scanner, it would take a VERY long time. I've seen the document scanners at work, and they would be perfect. Even a flatbed scanner with ADF attachment would suffice.
I would only need it for a day or so, to process all the files, then I can recycle all the paper, and reclaim loads of shelf space. Therefore, there is no point in buying one.
Or is there a very generous MSE user willing to let me borrow one for the weekend (pretty please??). I live in the Leicester area, and I can leave a substantial deposit if you like...
Lastly, I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but it sounded techie enough
Thanks.
:)

Look for a Printer Operation in your area and ask them. I had a large family tree scanned and printed for a reasonable charge.

I know someone who leases them but they are 12 month leases. The toshba digital coppiers will take a pile of sheets and scan them and produce a PDF file as an output. so if you know anywhere with one of thos machines maybe they could do it.

Im not sure is staples offer this type of service?

Lots of printing/reprographic/office supply shops offer a printing and binding service. There is also a High Street Mailbox shop that offer this service. They may be busy at the moment doing thesis'.
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Have you asked at work if there is any way you can make use of theirs? Perhaps you could scan them onto a work PC, make CDs or DVDs up and then erase them off the PC.

Thanks for all your replies, I think I'll have to take them and do them at work, albeit on a much longer timescale...the other options look (at first glance) to be uneconomical.
