Apart from Credit Cards?

Just ordered my Cashplus Credit Builder, hoping this is the start of me getting on track!
I will be sitting down over the weekend with my financial/debt paperwork and getting it all sorted, it's now or never.Speedy Boots0 -
I've been ok with mobile sim contract all the way through a DRO and have managed to open a small balance catalogue account to avoid credit cards at least to my surprise without 'any action' on my credit report, now at the end of a DRO yeah so I have pretty bad credit not that I'm bothered!
I have been at my current address long time now too.0 -
Get on the electoral roll too if you're not on it, people overlook how important it is to credit files.0

Hoping my Cashplus Credit Builder arrives soon. Just done a new credit report and I'm in worse financial shape than I thought

Not sure what's happened there as lots of people manage fine with it. What you're experience isn't the norm.
Yes, I took one out the beginning of this year. It took them a while to add the CreditBuilder facility to my account but once that was on there and set up (another month perhaps for it to be set up) it has been ticking along nicely. Ordered my Experian report recently and it is showing on there as 'up-to-date', all looking good. I would also go with the other advice on getting a mobile contract. I was worried I wouldn't get one but went for the SIM-only contract and Orange / EE gave me one no probs. I can see that on my Experian report too. All helps.0
