I have a Zafira at the moment.
Go for a diesel if you can get a decent one for your budget. The Zafira is a relatively heavy car and more so if you load it with nippers and their baggage. Otherwise get a 2.2 or 1.8. The 1.6 loan car I had was very weedy. The petrol engines need cambelt changes every 40,000 miles so factor this in when choosing a car (£150). Budget £30 for a spare wheel lock from eBay as the spare is prone to theft because the wheel also fits Astras.
Otherwise it's an OK car. But we haven't used the 7 seats for over 18 months and wonder if we should have got a normal estate car instead?!The man without a signature.0
