hi Aesop, running behind as usual. DD goes on Sunday and amazon books should arrive today. Having problems with student finance, surprise surprise. She should of received an email with a barcode for the uni to scan. phoned last weekend and was told they would send it out. Had to phone again today and somebody forgot to send it! I can't believe it will now take another 24-36 hours before she will get it.
Still plodding on with swagbucks though very hit and on targets. Aiming for thermal linings for the curtains now.
Glad your DS is having a good social life, I've almost forgotton what one is.:rotfl:

Hope everything gets sorted and your dd can focus on the important things in a students life like which is the cheapest bar:D
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

  • Good morning guys

I am a bit late this morning as my builder has been and gone. He said we need a new window in the lounge. He was going to take it out and repair it but when he took the beading off around the glass he wasn;t happy with it, there is a crack in the frame (upvc) so said if he takes the whole window out the crack could get worse and we have no window frame.

Anyway he is going to get someone to measure up for a new window for me.

Hope you all have a good weekend.

    CWxx

Oh ruddy heck CW - what a pain. Hopefully though that is the source of the damp at least found and now you can focus on it being fixed.

Late start here all round, need to get out in the garden and also take some bits back to HB.

I shouldnt skim read the forum i now have the impression that kerri is pole dancing, CW has cracked up and PM is off her meds ;) :rotfl:

Sitting in starbucks leeching the internet from the greggs next door(as theirs actually works) before heading to the library, seeing as the internet at home is borked and virgin dont seem to be able to make up their minds when it will be fixed:mad: At least its an area problem so it will get fixed a hell of a lot quicker than if it was just us.However its kinda put a dent in my study plans. Never mind for now i have coffee and cake :D

Hope you all enjoy your weekend, whatever your plans.Blue say hey to doc for me!

PM - lets hope the increased dose will work for you
Blue - hope you have had a lovely day with Doc.
Jeferey - hope you have had a great day with the children.
CW - at least your builder has been and now you can start to make progress at last!

Just off out to see some friends and have a meal with them and then a day out with hubby tomorrow. Were going to go today, but friends rang last night and invited us round tonight, so decided to change plans for today.

Well in my case you wouldn't be wrong, but it is only once a week as fitness class and I don't get paid (although always good to have a back up plan ;)) I can confirm that although i do own a pair of 'those' shoes, they aren't used in most classes and I take my hat off to anyone who can actually walk in a pair because I look like a constipated donkey :rotfl: Oh, and I'm incapable of taking off any clothes whilst doing a routine as I'm usually far too busy hanging upside down holding on TIGHT :rotfl:

Only just come in from the garden, two trips to the dump to get rid of a bush / tree thing I 'trimmed' one of those horrible thorny ones, and the thing is, if I look out the window I can barely see any difference as it was behind a load of bigger plants, and most of it was hanging over the other side of the fence :rotfl:

Oh, and discovered we have a wasps nest burrowed into a raised wall in the garden too. One of those moements where I was talking to OH near it and one of us said 'errr....is it me or are there a lot of wasps toeing and frowing?' ...'hmmmm, yes there do seem to be a lot'....'oh look there's a big hole and entrance to a nest' ...'lets not stand here':eek:

Prob just going to leave the nest though, Apparently the drones and workers die in the winter, and the queen may stay there but will nest elsewhere next year. Hopefully somewhere far far away.

Hope your weekend is treating you all well xx
