Kerri you must go and get leg checked out at Dr's if you haven't already as maybe infected and need to know what you are dealing with. Some bites can do a lot of damage to the body without people realising.
PM so hope things work out for you both with the fertility injections ((((HUGS))))
CW phew lots of washing0 -
DD is aiming to do mechanical engineering, with the emphasis on robotics. Her first choice is Jeferies local uni.
Well done tp DD that is an awesome subject.
Sorry these books won't help but keep.an eye on ebay, freecycle, freegle etc for people giving away the same books or selling them.
You rock as a mum Clyndu.0 -
DS1 finally moving out and up to Edinburgh this weekend to join his GF They are sharing a house in Edinburgh with other young people they were at Uni with for the moment with the intention they will eventually get their own place together. They will need to, just looking at all his gear he has accumulated:eek: they will still have a room each so he can use that for all his belongings. Best bit thou my electricity bill will drop dramatically and no more 3am drop off to work :j:j:j and DS3 can not wait to get his room back to himself with the promise he can have it decorated & a new carpet as still as it was when we moved 71/2 years ago

Thanks for the concern AH - thankfully my leg had gone down considerably in 48hrs and now it's not itchy at all, with just a small lump that healing up. Actually seemed to get another on my hand on Wed - bit swollen yesterday but got some bite / sting cream from Wilko and it's virtually gone today. It did look odd yesterday though, had a red patch right over the knuckle and you could actually trace a feint line of red following down a vein / artery in my hand. However, all ok now, everything gone down and thankfully I am not feeling unwell.
Big hugs PM - seems like you're going through the mill at the moment.
Well I'm off to empty the washing machine of OH work shirts to get those dry, been a tough old week at work and going to chill out watching how to furnish my home for free (I can't believe there's anyone who doesn't know about Freegle these days...but then not everyone is :money: like us!) xxFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Ah how lovely your ds will be starting a new chapter in his life
guess it will be really strange for you without him at home.
Thanks for the good wishes with the injections aswell.
Kerri thanks for you concern, I hope you keep and eye on your leg. We seems to have really been going through it for so long now. My fertility dr wanted to refer me straight for IVF as I have internal damage and dh has problems but I wanted to give the injections a try, will be self injecting. I don't get many goes with the injections s praying they work.

Evening all. Went on a cycle ride with OH today and actually enjoyed it, much to my surprise. Haven't been on my bike for about 5/6 years so felt a little wobbly to begin with, but once I got started, it was fine. Have decided to try and get a ride in one day next week too if we can, but got visitors over the weekend and more visitors next week, so just need to see if we can fit it in, with all the extra washing, shopping etc, and looking after mum. Our aim is now to try and give us 1 day per week for "us time".
Clyndu - you may find that your daughter can buy the books she needs once she gets to uni from students moving into the 2nd year. I know we spent a fortune when DS went to uni on books, only to be told that the 2nd year students were only too glad to sell them on to the 1st years. The other option is always the uni library. Again when DS finished uni, we passed on all his old books to the library.
How are you feeling about your daughter going off to uni?
AH - bet you won't miss those 3am drop offs, but will miss your DS. How do you feel about him moving out?0 -
