Good afternoon. Very strange day today, warm but muggy and looks like it is going to rain. I wonder if we are going to have thunder etc. My friend in portugal sent me a video yesterday of the rain and thunder they had yesterday. It seems everywhere is having strange weather this year.

Good Morning. Just been having a quick look at martins latest email, is it just me that thinks a lot of his email is now links to shops/sales etc where I assume he makes money? I still remember the days where it wasn't so much a mse money making site

Morning. Yes he has gone to the dark side. Even using old quotes to promote stuff like the tax refunds
I agree worth bringing subject up every year but not to regurgitate old quotes.

What do you all think of the new look MSE? Getting quite frustrated as can't see how to login and stay logged in and I really don't like the pages with the MSE banners stuck in the middle.

That's odd none of you have seen this new proposed look.


It has been coming up for me since Monday and still showing before my post today even though I was going in via my favourites link. Did say they were trialling it for 2 days for comments. Now I am getting the usual look - thank goodness as I didn't like the "new" one at all.

Under User CP, Settings and Options - Edit Options there is a section further down called Forum Skin. I remember ages ago changing this to Old Look, New Masthead.
What's everyone else's set as?
