We don't live that far away, but not nice enough here for shorts and t shirt:eek::eek: Today it has been very windy, fed up of the wind, but at least no rain at the moment. Got a new neighbour moved in upstairs, wondering how they can find so much stuff to hammer and drill
, must have been 3 hours they been hammering and drilling now:(:(

Maybe they were putting furniture together, you know, like wardrobes and such like.

They've been in about 3 weeks now, but yeah could be new furniture. Other person who was in there had it nice so doubt much needed doing.

How are things with you CW, have you found anymore 1p stuff?

Evening all, well after a weekend with no heating or go water the boiler is finally fixed. Shouldn't moan as there's all those people out there who have been flooded but if really love to know why these things always go kaput at the weekend, and not at the end of it, the flipping start. Oh well, at least the boiler could be fixed and didn't need replacing.

Evening kerri. I hope it has been as mild where you are as it has here this weekend. I try and only put my heating on for a short time when it is really cold due to the cost of gas now, but know when electric has been off it gets really cold quickly. Good news that the boiler was fixed, new boilers are expensive. It does seem to be getting a bit warmer as well as lighter nights, hope winter is over and we finally get spring.

Thanks blue, tbh it has been quite mild here, sat I decamped to DM and helped clear some stuff out the loft in return for dinner and a bath :rotfl: came home and pretty much went to bed. Was just at home yesterday doing stuff, had a fan heater but hot water bottle and joggers sufficed. It was just at night it felt cold really because the house hadn't been warmed up in the day.

Popped into the garden today to hang out some washing and saw the crocus' coming up and the elder starting to sprout, plus a frog out and about so spring is on it's way.

    Good morning guys

not been in my back garden for ages so not sure if anything is sprouting up. The blubells in my front garden are coming up so I guess everything is waking up after a long damp winter.

Glad your boiler has been fixed Kerry.

Not had any 1p stuff for a while, looked yesterday for the 1p chocolates but none there. Not been doing much shopping tbh.

Lets hope the neighbours quieten down for you soon.

I no longer go past the big tacto where I used to get some bargains, but given we still have a tin of roses from Xmas we don't really need more choc.

Our bluebells tend to sprout late, not sure if it's because I initially planted them late and they've stayed like that or whether they are just lazy bulbs :rotfl:
