Evening all

Had a busy afternoon baking (again) here are a couple pics as promised these two for Kerri first shows how much uncooked mix I out in the cases second shows after cooked how full they are. It's about just under 1cm from top of the case then icing fits nicely on that

Then my fav is a whole crew of reindeers lol had real fun making these hope the kids enjoy them made couple doz for the school and Half doz for us (kids would never forgive me if I gave them all away )



So not sorted at home tho have done cards but not started wrapping yet as I keep a lot of the stuf in the roof so wouldn't want to wrap just yet. Outside lights are up but no tree yet we are going to do that at the weekend with the little ones

I've been a little cheeky this Christmas and have compiled a list of all the shops I want to buy presents from. I have then private messaged these companies mainly on Facebook and just blatantly asked them for some discount on my online order.
I have had some really good responses (all from big companies) and have had some really good discount codes sent to me!


Its really worth trying!! I haven't given any sob stories....I have just said, I don't want to sound cheeky but could you send me some sort of discount code. Most of them are happy to oblige!!!


Let me know if any of you get some good responses too!!

Morning all

Friday 13th today (if you believe in all that) we have Christmas fair today and I'm on the nail painting team lol got a dozen or so diff coloured varnished for the school to borrow. Just hope we have enough helpers as a lot o the kids off this week as the dreaded sicky bug is doing the rounds several have even been sick in school I'm getting nervy as I never sleep well when this one is about I dread the kids catching it. I've even got my hand sanitizer ready for the fair as I'm going to have to touch their hands and I'm so bad with germs just hope can avoid the bugs for the last week of school then it usually clears up over Xmas

Bleugh, could you wear some latex type gloves so you don't have to actually touch people? Say it's for H&S or some other excuse.

Thanks so much for the baking pics, your cakes are always awesome. I think my first batch wasn't mixed well, and my huge cakes would have prob been ok with less mix. Little bit caked out ATM but must get baking again soon.

CW - so sorry to hear about the window, really hope you get it sorted for Xmas.

Sorry I've not been about much on here, usual stuff at this time of year, Xmas dos, endless lists of things to organise etc etc.

Phew, plumber came yesterday and put new towel rail and taps in downstairs toilet. Looks great
On train going to Leeds with DD1 and DD2 to go to a private showing of The Hobbit in 3D for free. Got train tickets for free too from AMEX membership rewards
