Excellent, I am going to mark my pork shank down to be married up with my cola.

I think the offal might end up in some kind of pie or might just keep it simple and pan fry, perhaps with some onion and mushrooms.

I SHALL make room in my freezer by Xmas (that's xmas 2013 btw :rotfl:)

i also found a lovely recipe for pulled pork with rosemary and sea salt today - another one on the list (although I'm torn between that and bbq pulled pork for sarnies...nom nom)

What did you end up cooking? I recently found out about jus rol, thought it would be carp but I found it really easy to use and have made a few pies. Beef mince pies, egg and ham pie, sausage & stuffing pie (not all on the same day, over a few weeks). My OH is enjoying my experimenting with the pastry. .

Been a super busy week, sorry for not being about much, clocked up nearly 37hrs by wed, and prob about 55 by the time I left the office on fri.

So, understandably not been as productive as I hoped today. Hair appt and mowed the meadow that was masquerading as our lawn then conked out in bed, well on it for an hour.

I must admit I haven't tackled the offal yet, but I have slow roasted a bit of port shoulder to do pulled pork sarnies. I have a friend in North Carolina who has given me an authentic sauce recipe.

A - not ignoring your PM, I just haven't even had a chance to read it properly yet
