Parking Charge Notice

Hi. I have received a Parking Charge Notice. On the ticket they have only put the building/organization name and not the address. There is no street name, town name or postcode on the ticket.

The invoice I have received states the building/organization name, street name and postal town.

Can I get away with the fact they haven't put down the full address of the where the so called discretion took place?

Many thanks in advance for your replies and help.

Cheers

Okay who gave you this invoice? As it was on the vehicle did you receive the notice to keeper within 56 days of the parking incident? Is this in England or Wales? Were you over 18 at the time of the incident ?

'Get away with'? You say it like it's a real parking ticket!

Anyway answer Stroma's questions and read other threads about fake PCNs and appealing. No rush, even assuming you are in England/Wales where you will be advised to challenge it, you do NOT actually respond until you receive the first Notice to Keeper in the post.*

  • Hi Stroma and Coupon Mad,

First of all thanks for your replies. Much appreciated.

The company is a BPA approved operator and the invoice I have received is within 56 days of the 'incident' taking place in England.

I haven't responded to anything so far. Not the initial ticket and not the received invoice.

But WHO is the operator - it can make a difference ?
  • The operator is ANPR Ltd.

Ahh our favourite joke of a company ;) send this to them. Expect a 15 page dossier from the long winded one in rejection

    Name
    Address

    Date

    Dear Trev

The keeper notices that your invoice is a speculative punitive penalty. There is no loss to your company or the landowner. Send the popla verification code to appeal independently. Or cancel the unlawful penalty.

You have 35 days from the date of this challenge to do so.

    Faithfully

Just added another bit to give them less reason to stall.

    LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

If you already have their failed version of a Notice to Keeper by post, then certainly send that appeal to start the ball rolling towards some fun with this one. Keep all the letters they send you because as well as getting this cancelled with the right wording for a POPLA (second stage) appeal, you will need the documents to make a formal complaint to the BPA and DVLA.

We know all about 'Trev the Clamp'* & his merry men from defunct 'National Clamps' who are notoriously non-compliant with the BPA Code of Practice.
Look out for the rejection letter from N Martin hiding the POPLA code and pretending that he can write to POPLA 'on your behalf' (do not believe him!):

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=80363&st=0&p=835924&#entry835924

an example of N Martin's 'offer' to make a POPLA appeal on a person's behalf:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=61951079&postcount=5

...that letter comes from this thread:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4660943

    then there are these!

ANPR Ltd are surely on a sticky wicket already and only need a few more complaints before they get banned I expect. Please show us the rubbish reply when you get it as we could all do with a laugh before we help you play a game of 'find the POPLA code' (cunningly hidden in the rejection letter) and then win at POPLA stage appeal.

This will be such fun you will want to go and repeat the exercise!

    Alright Coupon-mad :D
    Long time no speak.
There are a couple of posts on Tesco facebook today. Complaints from receiving an invoice from Highview. Is it best to just ignore these PCN's or give them the run-a-round?

    Cheers,
