I bought a new tap from an amazon seller in November. It arrived and didn't work so I exchanged it. It is now leaking everywhere and the turning off takes ages. I have contacted the seller several times to organise a replacement but they just ignore me.
I have now escalated this to Amazon who say that because it's past 90 days, they won't get involved. They sent our message on to the seller for us. We then had another email from amazon stating that the email hadn't gone through as the sellers email is not accepting new messages.
Any ideas where I can go from here? The tap has a 10 year guarantee on it which is neither use nor ornament if the company won't get involved in sorting out the issues.

Amazon themselves don't have to do anything I don't think once its past the 90 days. They didn't actually sell you anything so its a bit like complaining to shopping centre about something you bought at a Comet shop.
Is it guaranteed by the seller or guaranteed by the manufacturer?
If seller, is it only on Amazon or do they have a separate website or even an actual physical shop? In other words is there any other way of contacting them?
If it is a manufacture guarantee then contact them and explain the situation to see what they have to say.0 -
I can't find any other contact details for the shop who sold it to me. Their store front is not working but they are still trading I think. I also can't find any contact details for the manufacturer. It's very annoying because I am stuck until they deign to respond to my perfectly valid complaint.
