PPI on GE Capital Woodchester Loan for Virgin Car

Hi
First time post!
I've seen a few threads re GE Capital Woodchester. My gf took out a loan with them after buying a car from Virgin cars around 2005.
At the time she didnt realise she had a loan as she thought Virgin themselves had arranged the finance, but it turns out it was GE Cap that set up the loan. We have very little paper work but she does have an account number from GE Capital, however its been extremely hard to try and find out where to make a PPI claim. GE Cap pass us to Santander, Santander will pass us to Virgin, Virgin cars doesnt exist anymore....in short not sure where to turn to to make the claim.
The way I see it, someone has taken money from her that they shouldnt have so we should get it back, but from where? We've had luck with other PPIs but this is proving quite tricky.
As I said we have very little paperwork but any advice is most welcome.
Many thanks in advance

You complain to whoever sold you the loan, actually sold you the loan, not who was the insurer or whatever. If Virgin cars no longer exist, and it was them who sold it, then you complain to the FSCS.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Accordint to the FCA register, Virgin Cars was MS Vehicle Management Limited.
It has now been dissolved so you will need to go to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.0 -
