Does anyone know the best way to open up a Sony Ericsson K750i
My OH put in though the Washing maching a while back and it seemed to work ok at first. Then the light to the main screen stopped working which makes it nearly impossible to read the screen. I was thinking about changing the screen in the hope that this might sort out the problem. To do this I need to know the best way to dismantle the phone without causing any more damage.
I have taken the battery out and unscrewed the 4 screws that can be seen from there but not sure what to do now.

I have taken the phone ot bit and put it back together and the light on the screen still doesnt work !
Does anyone know if the light is contained within the screem unit ?
Do you think replacing the screen with a new one will solve this problem ?"The time is always right to do what is right"0 -
its probably some moisture damage to the screens connector. you may as well get a new phone as its so difficult/or impossible to change the screenconnector.
i once had a water damaged k700i, i swapped the lcd with a working one but the backlight never worked0
