Yep, it comes with risks, but you are the opposite of a failure
You will have time to explore and create a new chapter, or possibly a new book
Best wishes Tilly x
Wish I could thank this more than once, left me a little teary
It seems a huge leap of faith to me at the moment to take this step into the unknown, but I hope I'll look back in a few years & know that this was the best thing I ever did "Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it" Einstein 19510 -
the weekend,I picked up a passenger from a very well off area, you need to pass security gates, maybe 9 properties in total, all individually artfuly architected, modern stunning,I never went to pickup first, drove about looking at them,I also realised if you had to ask the price you couldn't afford it.

Well done you, I am sure it is the right decision,

Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Just wanted to pop in and wish you well on your Mortgage Free journey
. I wish that I had as much courage as you to take control of my life. I am sure that you have made the right decision. 0 -
just popping in again to say hello to all the lovely MSErs out there

My ankle is still bad, so can't do too much as it still hurts to walk, but managed to hop around tidying up the second bedroom so that it looks presentable to the EAs that are coming around on Saturday.
I'm not looking forward to Saturday, as having valuations done will really make the whole moving from-our-dream-house thing seem real. Hoping I can hold it together whilst they're here, as I don't want to look like a flaky vendor in front of them !"Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it" Einstein 19510 -
You must not look at it in terms of a "dream house", you are starting a "dream life" which one of those ambitions is more important. If you dropped dead from stress and unhappiness would you be able to take the house with you? Whereas memories of a life you have lived to your full potential will never die and will be with you for eternity.
What you are doing is a no brainer.
Good Luck

hope the ea go well today.MFW.....Apr 33 Aim - Dec 260 -
Sounds like a good and well thought through idea from here, though Im sure doesn't feel quite as easy as that!!
I think life is for living and so often we can get caught up with the next thing or with saving (or spending!) money that we forget this - sometimes life has a way of throwing reminders at us, and ill health or in-escapable job stress that is effecting your day to day life is just one such reminder.
Good luck on your journey shall be following with interest

Phew, hot hot day & being smiley and friendly throughout has been tiring.
The good news was that all three agents were very very close in their achievable estimates, and for much more than we were hoping. Either they were all good at over inflating their valuation to the same extent, or we really are in a more fortunate position than we thought we'd be in.
I'm still terribly upset at the thought of leaving here, but am trying to see it as a positive step towards a more relaxed and meaningful future."Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it" Einstein 19510
