My sisters and I did this (late 60s/70s) - very MSE!
I now read that Zara Phillips is pregnant - and knowing that her mum has kept outfits for decades (good for Princess Anne for still being able to get into them!) - I wondered whether Kate will hand on any preggy outfits to cousin Zara ........:D

I don't think Zara is quite as petite as Kate;)Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

And isn't Kate taller than Zara?0

My ex-SIL gave me a sack of her maternity clothes when she found out that I was pregnant. She is 6'1 and usually a size 18/20. I am 5'5" on a good day LOL and at the time was a 10/12.
Really made me wonder if she needed glasses. Or maybe it was an excuse to get rid of a bag from her loft! :rotfl:0 -

I'm sure she only meant to be kind.. besides things like tee shirts can be used as nighties even if in a much too big size... Or if you are nifty with a sewing machine, things can be taken in.0 -
I am pregnant and one of my favourite things has been getting people's maternity stuff! I am so grateful as it's expensive to buy new (and mostly hideous anyway so I don't want to spend money on it!). Some of it is so shapeless it doesn't matter what size you were originally anyway!0
