No sure if I should address this here or on the Telephones Board, but think it is more PC based, but feel free to move it if I am wrong.:rolleyes:
Looking at ways to contact friends/family in the UK from Spain in the cheapest way. Some have PC's/Broadband and others do not.
Aldi currently have an Internet phone with £5 call voucher for £6.99 so thinking of getting one of these for me and my DS as he will be contactable by Mobile mainly other than PC. For me messenger is fine but DH is not into PC's at all. Is this a good buy? Will it work with SKYPE as well as well as the Aldi option? Is there a cheaper way to receive calls to it from normal landlines other than buying Skypein?
A overview of voip and the cheapest way to go about it would be welcome.
