No Bank loan agreement

Hello, I got a personal bank loan from Royal Bank of Scotland around 10 years ago, then about 7 years ago I consolidated it.
For the last 18 months I have been asking RBS for a copy! They have just written to tell me they can't find it, therefore I don't have to pay the loan - yay.
I do know that they mis-sold me PPI, how do I go about claiming this back without any details of the loan.

You do have to pay the loan unless it's statute barred. If it isn't statute barred yet and you are hoping it will be, you can't complain about your PPI until 6 years have passed in total, and then, you'll be too lat ebcause they are contacting customers now to start a time bar....not so yay....
Anyway, send them a SAR and £10 to see what information theyhave left. You only need the account numbers to complain, not any agreement. See the front page for a sticky template SARNon me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -

Not paying is not without consequences. Whilst they cannot go to court to enforce the debt if you refuse to pay, they will load it on your credit file as a defaulted debt.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
