hello all.
i purchased a phone from Asda afew weeks ago online. It was a unlocked phone and purchased it just as a handset not on contact.
When the item came i was delivered a housephone - a totally different item.
Now the item needs to be refunded but the store cannot do it as it needs to be Asda Direct, you can contact them via phone only.
I have reported the issue, took the house phone back to the store, and was told Asda Direct need to investigate the issue. This should take 24 hours. Im 10 days into it now and still under investigation.
Ive called the call centre several times and been to the store and even called Asda Head office. Im still waiting for a positive outcome.
Whats the best course of action if i think no one is doing anything?
Andy

Who has the phone now? Asda?
The Distance Selling Regulations allow the seller up to 30 days from the day of cancellation of the order to refund your money.0 -
a Asda store has the incorrect item yes.
What should i do? or is it a matter of just waiting it out? The main issue with me is now 10 days have gone past and i am no closer to the issue being resolved0 -
I presume you've chased the matter up with them.
If they are still delaying and not resolving the situation, send a formal letter of complaint.0
