lost plastic hose for air conditioner

I have an old air con unit lying in my garage from a while back and thought i'd start using it again but i can't find the hose thing that attaches to the back of it that you place out of a window for the hot air to go.
I have found this on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/HDIUK-portable-Conditioner-venting-extension/dp/B002BOITAQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1373233544&sr=1-1&keywords=air+conditioner+hose
but it is described as an extension kit implying that you attach it to the original hose. any ideas if it would be ok to buy and use?

That looks rather like fairly standard 100mm hose for things like tumble dryers and extractor units.
If so you might be able to find an aluminium version cheaper, which would also probably be stronger and better.0 -

I emailed the seller who says it wouldn't be a suitable replacement for the original as it is just an extension and wouldn't be designed to fit into the Air conditioner unit but i don't know what else to do.
i suppose i could just buy it and use some gaffa tape to stick it on. i need it for the office it is too hot!0 -
What make is the air-conditioning unit? Can you post a photo of the fitting the pipe is supposed to clip onto?If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!
