Capital One No Contact

For a few years I have been trying to pay of debts. I'm pleased to say that as of next month I am debt free bar ONE tiny payment (in the scheme of things) to Capital One.

However, I have absolutely no way of physically paying Capital One back as I don't have an account number anymore and they refuse to communicate with me without it. It's on my credit report that I owe them £500 but I can't do anything about it.

It's been going on for three years now and I don't know what to do about it - never expected a company to ignore me when I wanted to pay money back!!

Any ideas?!

Escalate the call until you speak to someone who actually has a braincell to use.

Well done getting debt free! With capital one - speak to a senior consultant or supervisor that usually get the problem resolved
