Helen jelly - hugs and posivibes to you and your DH....
Pigpen - you're not risking a trip to Stockport are you? Really?:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Best wishes for Helen Jelly and her DH
Managed to get flying done here between paid stuff and numerous phone calls. I need to clean the bath again as the kids were just a bag of muck tonight, it has the yuckiest tidemark all grubby with dirt and sticky with suncream.
I did feed and weed on the lawn again, then been to my dads, lol, he was right on the money about his step daughter. She had left her electric toothbrush plugged in and charging, not switched the water off the timer despite a post-it note stuck to the boiler cupboard door, and not flicked off the tv etc at the wall. Anyway, its all sorted and house locked up for them.
I dropped completed forms in at after school club on way to collect kiddies - and agreed a date to take DS for a visit. Had to blink away a few tears when they asked for a second emergency contact, and can they have dads number. But very understanding. Seem like nice people.
All gone quiet upstairs now. I will sort bags and pack up for tomorrow, then go clean the bath. Actually, I might have a cuppa and delete some emails firstBossymoo

Sadly, yes. The hospital can't possibly be worse than the one here unless it employs real prison bait murderers.
I've got 7 weeks left supposedly so it 'shouldn't' happen just yet.. and just to tempt fate I am not taking any of the stuff I would need if I was in hospital
It is OH's birthday on Friday so I'm being all self sacrificial and allowing us this one weekend.. I will regret this massively, in fact I already do.. but, hey-ho.
We've done a speedy chest of drawers shuffle.. DS3 got a smaller one, Tiddles got DS3's bigger one and Dot got Tiddles one and the baby is having Dot's.. I have put away lots of clothes and made a start on packing for the weekend.. I like summer we are taking about 1/4 what we usually do. I have scooped a pile of stuff out of both cupboards. I do appear to be missing a new tshirt of Squeaks though which I want to take.. so I need to go digging tomorrow
I bossed OH so I now have light shades on the landing, nothing amazing but they cover up the boring bulbs I've been looking at for 8 years!
And it is binday tomorrow so I need to trot about emptying the upstairs bins and the kitchen ones and OH can do the vacuum cleaner.. it contains a fork and a huge spider.
Off to find some food seeing as OH ate mine.. he just emptied everything that was left onto his plate and scoffed it leaving none for meThen I can crack on with my knitting.

Piggers please take it easy when you go to Stockport..at least you can console yourself that it is the last one for awhile
Gosh hasn't it been hot today - although we have had a lovely breeze which has been really nice. It would be unbearable here without that breeze. Anyway have put it out now so that it drys overnight
Tomorrow is the last day upstairs as I am getting my house back to myself after tomorrow afternoon - :j:j:j But the good news is that I have been cleaning while up there, so some good has come of it.
