    Morning All

I am in this week, thanks for the list Natty. Where did the weekend go? I was shattered this morning when alarm went off, think yesterdays sun has caught up with me!!! House is all looking tidy, we had a lovely BBQ on Saturday night, I thought we would all end up inside but we stayed outside until the wee small hours so house was kept tidy. We were away to the beach yesterday with the in-laws & didn’t get home until nearly 10pm so DS was a tad grumpy!!! I need to start the packing tonight as I am out tomorrow night then getting nails & eyebrows done Wednesday night & Hairdresser on Thursday night in preparation for our holidays!!! DH is at home with kids all wekk so for me at the paid stuff its going to be a long week. :(

    Good morning :D

I am in again this week (hopefully with more success than last week) Thanks Natty for the lists.

DD1 & 2 are taking me out for lunch today :) I have been up for a while, showered, hair washed & dressed. DD1 has just got up, the so I may delegate some bathroom cleaning to her ;) I have munched a frog and paid Ike@ card. I have also phone the company that I complained to last week that resulted in me getting a year's free subscription (worth nearly £120). the system has been all set up, but I have also been debited nearly £120 :mad::mad: That is NOT what I call free!! I have left a message & hopefully he will call me back & issue the refund ;)

I will also tackle some paperwork hopefully, and I need to tame my hair in a mo as well. I may post a list later :p

Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them :)

    Good morning everyone

It's hot!!! I am trying *not* to have all the windows open and to minimise the noise of the banging which will surely annoy the neighbours and their daughter and her family who are over from the US for a week. One builder is putting in the new kitchen drain while two others are putting up a couple of stud walls. Fortunately I have room to work here in the spare bedroom with the window open and door shut.

Thanks to Natty and Dusty for keeping the lists coming.

    Today I have
    - prepared breakfast for us both
    - washed up
    - replied to 2 emails
    - phoned the kitchen fitter
    - taken up bathroom carpet, underlay, old newspaper under underlay and carpet gripper strip
    - removed towels and other clean items from the bathroom so that it doesn't matter if more of the old sandy plaster comes off the walls as the stud wall for the shower is put up
    - fielded questions from builders
    - made tea
    - made more tea!

DH has been talking to the builders and loading the car, ready for yet another run to the tip.

    Now I must
    - ring physio
    - finish resource box
    - fill in form for water board

    Later I must
    - buy marzipan and roll-out icing
    - buy a hand tool for grubbing out dandelions and other weeds from the lawn (or does anyone have experience of the F!skars w€€d t00l? - our soil is sandy but the roots are deep)
    - marzipan DGS3's christening cakes, but not until after the builders have left and dust has settled

The builders are surprised that we are actually living here :rotfl:

Thanks Natty for the new lists, and thank you Dusty for last week's lists.

Belated birthday wishes to Goodintentions and dancemum

Had a busy weekend away and enjoying the sun. Minimal flying done on return apart from unpacking, WM x 3, and changing bed sheets.

    This morning I have:
    Put out the recycling
Laundry shuffle on the whirly dryer
    Washed dishes
Sent driving license by special delivery post to change name

Today after work I plan to:
    • View 2 houses for sale
    • Food shopping
    • WM x 2
    • Ironing
It's very time-consuming trying to buy a house!

  • Hi All

I am going to try and keep up this week. I am struggling a bit with a ruptured disc in my back but really need to get the house sorted.

As long as I can get get the pots washed and the bathroom cleaned, I will be happy. If I can manage a bit of the ironing as well, that would be great.
