Gap Insurance

Hi guys,

My 59 plate Focus got nicked a few weeks back and now I've ordered a new (used) car. I was originally going to opt for a tracker but after reading various forums and speaking to people is seems they're a waste of time and money and that Gap insurance is the better option. So, do any of you recommend any that you've used before or anything?

Cheers!

Used it on both mine and the Mrs cars. Gets good reviews on the LR forums and my query I had was dealt with in a polite and speedy manner. I opted 'new car replacement' cover as opposed to 'back to invoice' as car prices are bound to be higher at the point you need it.

Like all insurance, lots of people say don't bother, but then they'd be the same people that would squeak and wail about their insurer not paying out the full replacement cost of their car when it was crashed or stolen.

Other on-line GAP companies are available and you are best advised to do a direct comparison.
