Speed Seminar or take the points?
Caught on camera by Humberside Police. Been offered a £60 seminar or a fixed penalty ticket with 3 points. Currently have a clean licence and drive 20,000 miles a year on business. It will be a 200 mile round trip for the 2 and a half hour session, meaning taking a day off work.
Any advice welcomed.

Anything to prevent you getting the points is worth the effort. I wish I were offered that when I got caught speeding. If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0

I too would opt for the course, if you can avoid points then take the opportunity; if you are caught in future they may not offer the course.0

Maybe the 200 mile round trip is to try get you caught speeding on the way there and to get you to put into practice what you "learnt" on the way back?
I would go for the seminar (especially if you passed your test within the last 2 years) and if they ask if you learnt anything say yes lots even if you didn't

It's a no brainer really, go on the course.Sponsored by Tesco Clubcard Points !!0 -
Do the course. Try not to ask awkward questions or the presenter will threaten to send you home and give you the points anyway.0

Hell yeah, take the course. They are handing you a 'get out of jail free' card!0
