    Stay put, he has no rights to kick you out. Since you cant sell due to the 5 year restriction is there a clause anywhere that lets the housing association buy it back from you?

    You'd only get HB for 6 mos max, then they'll look at your ownership and capital. As you said you bought under RTB, there will be equity, this will reduce your benefits.

    You'd be better off staying put claiming SMI (after 13 weeks). You need to look for a job to support your family and also ensure a formal break from your husband as they look into shared accounts, finances, council tax and electoral roles elsewhere etc, merely saying I'm separated as I'm sure you understand isn't accepted without proof.

    I had numerous letters (in education), asking if we have dad down as different address, what address do we send reports to etc.
