Morning all, so bright and warm here it already feels like the afternoon!

Off in to Sheffield today with bf to get him a couple of treats for all his long upcoming travel so he is getting some headphones and An iPod and a little Speaker For the garden. He gets that and I get My trip To belgium To watch him play :-)

Will need to go soon though as He wants to be back for the Tennis :-) I think I will treat myself to some material whilst we're in John Lewis too as my mother gets partner discount.

Washing machine on, hopefully will finish soon so I can get it out to dry before we head out .

Suppose I had better go sort myself out, I'm not best friends with the heat so want to make sure I stay cool and slap the sun cream on too! Wish I could get some colour on my legs though

    Hello all.

Had a lovely day out in Canterbury yesterday. We walked in the riverside area, had a nice lunch and saw the matinee show of The 39 Steps (all roles performed by 4 people).

When I got home, I found out that I'd sold 15 things on eBay, and more things to go today and tomorrow. I've also got a special offer for 200 free listings from eBay this weekend.

So today, I'm going to be packing, doing a few more listings, wander in and out of the garden and watch Andy Murray. I used to be a tennis fan. But lost interest somewhere around the time Andre Agassi stopped playing. Andy Murray has taken a long time to grow on me, and I feel this year he really can do it.

    Enjoy the sun, everyone

Tru ive got a dead bumble bee in my veranda. Nothing to do with me and the door was open all yesterday but I think he must have boiled to death as it gets so hot in there. I hadn't noticed him buzzing in there and as much as I hate bees and wasps I would have got him out somehow before he met his maker.:(

Bees are dopey little things, they find their way in through the smallest gap, yet can't get out of our open doors - even 5ft wide french doors :D

    Morning all,

Another one that was up early, woke at about half 4 with a thrush singing its head off, then noticed what sounded like a chainsaw noise - got up, could not work out where it was coming from, went to the kitchen to make a coffee and the electric pepper mill was buzzing away next to a pile of ground peppercorns, i,d changed the batteries on it yesterday, and its gone mad...

2 lots of washing done, its boiling already so will dry in no time.

We live 5minutes from the beach, but I prefer to sit in the garden - how sad is that!

Cold roast chicken, new pots and salad for dinner, cooking it now, with an asparagus and pesto tart for snacking on.

Both kids are home now, youngest went camping last night, was back by 8 and is now in bed! Been asked to wake him at 12 so he can go to the beach. DD looks a bit worse for wear, so will leave her to 'recover'.

Have a fab day all x

    Morning all!
Sunny here just now, but looks like it will be clouding over. Waiting for MIL to arrive, she wants me to go with her to garden of remembrance as she has something to put there, so I must run to Mr M's for some flowers, hopefully she comes soon so that I am organised in time for the tennis!

    Another beautiful day here too.

The International Deaf Bowlers (lawn bowls) Championships are being played at our club, yesterday and today. It is amazing watching them communicating with each other, as most of them are dumb also. So far they have had great weather, good crowds and fast greens to experience. They all seemed to enjoy themselves yesterday.

I am going down now to watch the last hour or so of today's final matches, then a few hours of Andy Murray, topped off with OH and I going out for a meal.

Be careful everyone with the sun.

Lovely weather here - may swap the WD40 for some sun cream! Washing on the line including the living room curtains which shouldn't take too long to dry as it's nice and breezy too.

DD gone off to work and her South African pal has gone for a look around Glasgow while she's there so he could hitch a ride, quite glad really as I thought I was going to have to take him out if he was here on his own!
They will be back for tea which is fajitas, nice and easy.

Just made shortcake biscuits to go with frozen strawberry yoghurt that I am going to make into some sort of masterpiece for desert. Also got banana bread in to make use of the oven being on.

    Take care. XX

Everybody having a lie in in preparation for 2pm?

It's hot hot hot here in Brum already. About to take the dog for a walk. He spent most of yesterday hiding against the freezer.

Off to church this morning. Then I am settling down in front of the TV. Go on Andy!
My first reaction was "Why? What's happening at 2pm?":rotfl: Can you tell, I'm not interested in the tennis?:D
No lie-in here (I dislike lie-ins in any case) as the dogs wanted their brekkie at 07:30 as normal.:o Then I put the WM on before I run out of underwear, had a bath, decanted Mr LW out of the door to do the monthly trip to the farmers market, and exercised the dogs. Then Mr LW arrived back, and as he got some cream (unpasteurised - yummy stuff) I made a quiche while he went off to the PYO; then did my WiiFit. He's back from the PYO with strawberries and gooseberries, so we're going to be jamming in a few minutes - as soon as I get off the netbook!:D Oh yes, I've had a challenging game of Fridge Tetris to get all the farmers market purchases fitted in, too.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Afternoon all, bf is watching the tennis and playing with his new toys. He decided against the iPod in the end so instead we got him some Beats headphones (much needed!) And a tiny sound cube - a speaker he can use in his hotel rooms etc or inside the house. We've also ordered a much bigger speaker for when we have parties/bbqs/go away so we can play music loud enough for everyone to hear (but not so deaf we upset any neighbours!)

I ended up finding nothing I liked but I will probably get myself a treat before Belgium - a nice new outfit I expect!

Second load in the machine now then I just have what we are wearing today and a pair of bfs shoes to wash :-)

Salad for tea - chicken and bacon for bf, I will have chopped up beef burgers that were cooked but not eaten yesterday and will try some of the chilli and pepper chicken bf's brother left. I'm not one for spice/kick but I don't want to see it wasted and it smells nice!

It's so hot I have put ice in the pup's bowl and in bf's drinking bottle hoping to keep the pair cool.

If you're outside keep slapping the sun protection on and stay in the shade where possible! And keep yourselves and any pets/animals hydrated

    Afternoon all

Bit warm here so not sitting in the garden. Went into town this morning as OH wanted to see if there were any bargains at Modelz**e in their closing down sale. There weren't as they had not reduced the model trains.............We can park on street for free on Sundays so it's a good time to go.

Came back to lunch in the garden. DH is decorating the now spare room. He is having to get a wriggle on as DD flies in on the 26th. The sun has moved away from the back of the house so it's a bit cooler in there now.

Chilli for tea as I can cook it on the top of the stove and DS is not in to eat tonight.

Well got to go and get OH a cuppa.

    Have a good evening folks.
