Anyone got a Co-op Cashminder Account?

What you got against the Halifax

The only 2 (I know of) that use Electron debit card facility are:
Halifax (Easycash)
Co-op (Cashminder)
You can have Solo debit card (I have one):
Natwest (Step)
The debit card is Solo (for UK) and Maestro and Cirrus (abroad) I use it everywhere (on-line and the high-street) with no problem
You get branch, telephone and internet banking.
(You also get local branch sort code. Co-op gives you the generic main Manchester sort code).
Hope this helps.Proudly Banking & Saving With:

If you have a Clydesdale Bank or Yorkshire Bank branch nearby then you could apply for the Readycash Account. The account can be opened by just about anyone as long as you don't have a history of fraud or been declared bankrupt. There is no credit check and the account comes with a Maestro debit card which is more widely accepted than Visa Electron. I had previously been declined for the CO-OP Cashminder account and Natwest Step Account but was offered the Readycash Account with the Clydesdale with no problems at all.0

I got a new one too this morning.
I see they're using the new'ish Visa logo and also done away with the big, blue Electron logo
They still don't reflect pending transactions in your available balance via internet banking - if only they'd fix that, they'd be worth using.Proudly Banking & Saving With:
