is this possible...???

Possibly a stupid girly question, but I'm off on holiday for a few weeks and my mum refuses to feed my cats unless I let her have my car so she can drive to my house (cow), my cat would near die if I left it in a cattery (queen cat). So, is it possible to add someone to your car insurance for say a month, or even a fortnight??? I'm insured with Asda, (norwich union I believe) and they sure take enough of my money. I don't want her as a permanent named driver as she has only had her license for a year and she would up my premiums too much-would rather let said cat die in cattery!

Hi hlmurray,
It's called in the insurance world a 'temporary MTA' (Mid-Term Adjustment).
It's entirely possible to put your mother on for 1 week minimum upwards, just speak to your insurance broker and they should be able to sort you out no problem - shouldn't be too much of a dent with the premium.
Hope that helps, Steve.0 -

Didn't know you could put cows in a cattery  Might be useful for dairy farmers wanting a break

Ask a neighbour to feed the cat instead, and then have the satisfaction of politely declining your mum's kind offer!*** Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly ***
