The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

    Restore
    Don't know if those instructions are up to date, is Windows system restore not turned on? If it is you could try that before scrubbing the pc.

    if it's not CTRL f11 as posted then, unless you had the Dell restore disks ,a XP repair might do

    try start help system restore, this is an undo feature, as opposed to a recover/reinstall
