Moving house and energy
I've just moved house and with it energy supplier, from the recent best selling Scottish Power fixed rate deal to the British Gas standard deal (both dual fuel). I'm keen to get off BG asap.
BG tells me my account is now set up with them but they have yet to take any money from me. Is there anything stopping me moving to a cheaper deal with another supplier now? I believe the process takes about 6 weeks.

Do ensure that you have the correct readings however.0 -
As soon as you have an account you can commence a switch. Usually 4-5 weeks.No free lunch, and no free laptop
