Please re read posts 24, 25 and 26 - you need to take charge. A district judge will ALWAYS say you must pay a judgement the reality is quite different.
If you didn't pay, the property would be lost, you would get re housed and job done - what would the court say then? Pay the mortgage - what mortgage?!

If a judge orders you to pay costs when you're in the midst of petitioning for BR, then I would seriously question the thought process of said judge. Where exactly would they expect the money to come from?

Also, if your children are under a certain age (which it sounds like they might be), on earnings of £1100pcm, you should be able to apply for CTC & WTC, which should help you greatly. Maintenance payments are not taken into account for income purposes, so it would be your earnings only that is assessed.
