What's best way to cut phone bill?

Hi there, I am the chair of a neighbourhood renewal team and am looking to use some of our financial budget to support a local organisation that provides advice and help to people on low incomes to maximise their entitlements to benefits. The organisation does not have charitable status.
At this moment in time, I have asked them to provide information about what they want us to do to help them and in the meantime, I am trying to identify ways they can reduce their outgoings to maximise the benefit of the grant we will provide them with.
Assuming their telephone line is a business line, what do you think would be the best options for them to reduce their phone bills. Do BT offer anything? What about 18866 or one of the other similar companies, do they offer their services to business customers.
Many thanks in advance.

If your line is BT you can use 1899/18185 or 18866 on a business line.0

If you have what was Telewest in your area, we find they provide the best 'switchboard facilities without a switchboard' service, called Centrex. I don't know how it compares with BT or those prefix services for call charges.
the other way we use to reduce call costs at work is Jajah: I tried Skype but found the quality of calls was not good enough, I don't know if other VOIP services would have been better. Jajah does have some limitations but in general it's very good and you do get to try it without paying out for extra equipment. It is a discipline of calling via Jajah rather than just picking up the phone, but most of my colleagues have got the hang of it now ...Signature removed for peace of mind0
