What is available as an alternative to the National Lottery? I run a small syndicate at work, and we do not wish to pay £2 instead of the present £1 later this year.
Same here , we have decided to move to the health lotteryThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
When the lottery goes up to £2' I'll stop doing the lottery and do extra Thunderball lines instead.
It's far easier to win on the the Thunderball as you only need to get the Thunderball to win £3
I'd rather win little and often than nothing at all, and the jackpot of £500,000 is more than sufficient for my needs.Early retired - 18th December 2014

when it goes up my syndicate is going to put half on health lottery and half on irish lotto as we have only won tenners and at the most £120 been in it since it started but we decided health lottery helps Britain and only Britain we are going with them x0

I had an email and a letter saying that from October 5th new Lotto would cost £2 but if they don't hear from me by 5th September (I'm subscribed online by direct debit) then they can't enter me into any draws from 5th October and will cancel my direct debit.
I had this letter too. I was going to the bank to cancel my direct debit but I will just let the lottery people do it for me now.
I'm paying £18 a month now and there's no way I'm going to pay £36!0 -
