Hozelock cart and hose

We were given a hozelock cart with reel and 50m hose by our old neighbour.I have seen it working fine while with them.
Since we had them it is working perfect and without leak but for one problem.
Everytime we pull on the hose to increase the length-the connector from mains hose to cart inlet flies off!!
what can be done about it?
we had bought new connector fittings since we had it.

I have seen this problem on Hozelock carts too. It's the rubber washer which works loose on this part on the side of the hose cart:
Not sure if the rubber washer is available separately?
The other end which attaches to the short pipe leading to the tap should have one of these connectors to automatically stop water flowing when it disconnects:
Make sure you push the connector on really tight. I think it clicks twice. If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!0
