Council tax - 12 monthly instalments - court prosecution for arrears

Any forumites been summonsed and prosecuted yet for not paying council tax due despite applying to pay over 12 instalments ? What was the magistrates ruling?

First 4 months out of 12 all paid up.

So the DD was cancelled for some reason after it had been set up ?

Has anyone asked a magistrates court to summons a council officer as witness before ?

For what purpose ?

I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.
