Landlord insurance

in House buying, renting & selling
I am renting out my house for the next few years (no mortgage) and would appreciate advice on what insurance cover I need. It will be unfurnished so will be buildings cover and any thing else required. The heating system is fairly old - can I insure it against failure? Many thanks

    You'll LL's insurance. Which sometimes has boiler cover etc, but most of the time no, so get BG cover etc

    Don't forget all the safety stuff too.

    Surely it's better to assess whether cover is value for money simply compared to paying a local Gas Safe Engineer to come round to fix any problems?!
