Ikea have some lovely white double wardrobes for £60 each. Come with shelf and hanging rail. I bought one for storsge in my art room and very impressed. Might be an item fot 10% off with family card. Not sure of where you are but there was money off ikea vouchers for wales the other day. Always worth watching site for discount vouchers as happens fairly oft1en. I am waiting to buy a drawer unit but can't find a voucher for july to use in london ikea.
I did do very well in may with help from aau1 and zippy and got various money off vouchers think they were £5 off £30, £10 off £70 and £15 off £145 so always worth looking for.

Thanks V, I remember- you bought fitted wardrobes didn't you? Our local 'ish' Ikea is Southampton. I've promised the children a trip there during the holidays. It's one of their favourite days out! They love the play area and the children's section with all the cute room sets. They have meatballs for lunch and usually a hotdog and ice-cream for the way home. I like the free coffees.
£60 sounds a very good price, even if they only last a year or two. I will take a look. Thank you very much.

Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!

Please. I will fill it up and send it back. Looks like it's going to be another flash storm like this time yesterday. Woohoo. Managed to get my washing dry so I am happy. Thank you God!

Just got one more day at work next week in my current job before I start my new one. I will be in the same department, just a different team in a different office. I can't make my mind up whether I should take buns and cakes in, order some pizzas, have a leaving do, or just not bother at all. Most of the team have it in for me that I am progressing and they don't talk to me anymore. What should I do? There are only 2 people that I really get on with now and I guess I could just go out with them. Any suggestions....................?
PS. I'm tempted to take a box of eggs in and say to them "This is my fat arris (whilst pointing at arris), have a good look at it because it ain't ever coming back here you bunch of losers" before I egg them all and walk out. :D:p;)

My OH worked as a postman for over 33 years. He moved offices about 10 years before retiring and those 10 years were the worst of his and our lives. His colleaugues treated him appallingly as did his boss till he could take no more and attempted suicide. He was an alcoholic all those years but always did his job and had very little tme off work. When he retired he did not even get a card from his workmates let alon a present.
However when he moved 10 years previously he even had a party thrown for him by his customers and got loads of lovely presents and really sweet cards.
But as they say Karma gets you in the end and the main person who caused him so much trouble has just lost his job and marriage as he was defrauding the new company he was working for. Revenge a dish best served cold.
As to your so called workmates ( except the 2 you like) just walk away with your head held high and realise you are better then them. Enjoy your new job.

Have I missed something again, has the l'oreal insider website changed completely? No coupons anymore?

Yes, its all changed. No coupons now (but then its a good 6 months since I was able to print any so not much difference there). They are supposed to be rolling out a fancy new scheme. You might be able to con a set of coupons out of them if you butter them up (are you listening Andy we're at it again on the fiddles).

Managed to get some granddad socks tonight, also found 2 x tops, both dark blue one like a tshirt the more like a chiffon shirt, both scanned at 4p and they said they couldn't sell them to me, apparently there was a fault with the product lol, both had aw12 code if that helps anyone. Least i managed to get the socks through ss.
