Can't remember who mentioned that Tesco were putting fresh produce out for customers to taste - but my store has now done it ! And pretty disgusting it looks - just inside the entrance a pineapple with a plastic dish of tiny slivers of pineapple in front, some manky raspberries and cubes of cheese. A few cocktail sticks in a bowl - and a bigger bowl of dirty ones - and not a cover in sight (lenty of customers breathing over the diplay and stickings fingers in though. And no staff member supervising. Not at all inviting.

I've just seen that in mine ... and duly avoided it!! :rotfl: Some manky tomatoes and i didn't bother looking at anything else. yuk. do T think we need a few germs passing on?

Cereal and petrol...may help someone cos I've spent forever going through prices etc.

I bought the following for some variation:
KELLOGG'S CRUNCHY NUT 750G, KELLOGGS FROSTIES 750G, TESCO APRICOT WHEATS 500G, TESCO BLUEBERRY WHEATS 500G, T. POMGRANATE & RASPBERRY WHEATS 500G, NESTLE FITNESSE CHOCOLATE 325G, NESTLE FITNESSE FRUITS 325G (x 2)

    Costs £18.67, get a PP back of £4.67 and 3 x 5p vouchers.

Or you could just get 2 (or 4, or 6) x Crunchy nut cornflakes 750g @ £3.14 each. £6.28 spend gives you a PP of £2.28 with a 5p petrol voucher. (TvA and fillers of course)

I'm all cereal'd out.. off to make a coffee

  • Sainsburys are offering 10p off a litre of petrol if you spend £60 - starts tomorrow.

What a pity that duvet etc. was the wrong colour when I got it home! ;0

Car runs FAR better on Sainsbury diesel - with Tesco fuel it sounds like an old tractor. Don't need cereal or anything else in Tesco promotion so this does it for me.

Sainsburys are also 3-4p a litre cheaper than Tesco
