Could someone help me on this ebay problem. My OH bought an item on a buy it now last night, paid through paypal, the seller is now saying it was not a buy it now and should have been an auction. So he has cancelled the sale and wants to refund us. He has sent us a message asking for our email address, why, cant he just refund us back through paypal.
Don't give your paypal email - if they just send you the money, you will be charged paypal fees (also he won't get his selling fees back).

Just tell him to refund through ebay.

In my experience a lot of people selling on ebay are numpties who don't know how it works.
I have had to explain in simple terms how to do a refund before , he will also not get his fees back if he doesn't refund the original payment but that is not your problem.

Can't remember who mentioned that Tesco were putting fresh produce out for customers to taste - but my store has now done it ! And pretty disgusting it looks - just inside the entrance a pineapple with a plastic dish of tiny slivers of pineapple in front, some manky raspberries and cubes of cheese. A few cocktail sticks in a bowl - and a bigger bowl of dirty ones - and not a cover in sight (lenty of customers breathing over the diplay and stickings fingers in though. And no staff member supervising. Not at all inviting.
